Dublin Mother Wins €500K on National Lottery Scratch Card

Scratchcards

A woman from Tallaght, Dublin is the latest winner of the National Lottery All Cash Extravaganza Scratch Card. The mother took home a total of €500,000 as a result of the win.

The seller of the lucky woman’s winning scratch card is the Mace Maxol store in Dublin’s Templeogue Village. The winner bought the scratch card when she was heading to her friend’s last Tuesday evening.

Finding out the Good News

The woman scratched her golden All Cash Extravaganza Scratch Card at her friend’s place. She described her experience of discovering the win: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw I had won €500,000. I thought surely this is only €5,000,”

She immediately got to her car and phoned her boyfriend to share what had happened. She had to remain in the car for a while before she confirmed to herself that the overwhelming news was real.

After that, she returned to her friend’s home and didn’t spill a word. “I went back into my friends and finished my visit without saying anything and then went home,”

The overjoyed mother revealed how she had foreseen the future. She said to her father that she would gain a fortune on the lottery just a day prior to discovering her win.

“I just had this feeling that this was my time. Incredible that the very next day I won €500,000! It still hasn’t fully sunk in,” said the woman.

Fulfilling Her Dream

Currently unemployed, the winner is most excited about purchasing a home with her winnings, something she never thought she would be able to achieve. “I presumed a house was always going to be out of my reach. This changes everything,”

She is looking to find out if she can purchase the house she’s currently renting. She is also considering to buy a new car.

A lucky EuroMillions player joined the woman as Dublin’s second €500,000 lottery winner from last week. The man bought his ticket at a Circle K service station in Kildare, only to find out last Friday afternoon that he had won an EuroMillion Plus top prize of €500,000.
