Nolimit City Launches Brand-New Historical Video Slot, Little Bighorn

Little Bighorn Slot

Developer Nolimit City has announced the launch of its latest video slot, Little Bighorn.

The game is based on the historical event known as The Battle of Greasy Grass or Custer’s Land Stand, a battle for history from the 19th century that saw Native Americans take on and defeat US forces.

The western-based slot captures the mayhem of the fight on its 3x4x5x3x2 reel setup with 360 paylines, and an RTP of 96.06% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make large wins when playing.

The game requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin, with symbols that include wilds, Native Americans, US forces, and weapons like axes, guns, pistols, and knives.

Special Features

The Little Bighorn slot comes with a slew of special features, including Wild symbols that can substitute for other symbols to help you make more winning combinations.

There are also Scalp Wild symbols that can only land on the five-symbol high reel. When it lands, American soldiers transform into Wild symbols. The Scalp Wild then nudges and expands over the entire reel. For each nudge, the American soldiers’ heads will be scalped to reward a +1 Multiplier to the Wild symbols.

Totem Scatters can appear on the middle three reels in the base game and Scalp Free Spins. During the Spirit Call Free Spins, Totem Scatters only land on the third, fourth, and fifth reels.

Landing one or two Totem Scatter in the base game transform them into expanding Wild symbols. Any Totem Scatter that lands in the Free Spins becomes an expanding Wild and awards a spin, and landing three Totem Scatters in the base game triggers the Scalp Free Spins mode.

No Mercy Scatter symbols can land on the fifth reel to trigger the Spirit Call Respin feature. When this happens, the Scatter moves to the first reel and triggers a respin, revealing a special symbol that can transform other symbols into expanding Wilds, normal Wilds with Multipliers or just basic Wilds.

When the Scalp Free Spins mode is triggered, you earn eight spins. Scalp Wild symbols increase the Sticky Win Multiplier by one point for each scalped symbol. Landing a Totem Scatter transforms into an expanding Wild with an additional spin, and landing a No Mercy Scatter triggers the Spirit Call Free Spins with two additional spins.

The Spirit Call Free Spins starts with 10 spins. In addition to the Scalp Free Spins features, No Mercy Scatter symbols will stick on the first reel, and for every spin, it transforms into a Wild Chieftan that can transform symbols into Wilds.

Finally, the game allows you to enable the Scalp Bet at the cost of 50% extra. When enabled, you are guaranteed a Totem Scatter symbol on the second reel.

What They Say

Per Lindheimer, the Product Owner at Nolimit City, said in a statement: “We thought General Cluster got way too much attention in the Battle of Little Bighorn, time to praise the victorious war chiefs, including our own mighty warrior from Deadwood.

“Little Bighorn is not your typical western slot. It’s highly volatile, and one which truly captures the essence of an all-out battle.”

Little Bighorn is the latest casino game to launch by Nolimit City, and it follows the release of The Border, Road Rage, The Rave, and more.

The news also comes after Evolution completed its €340 million acquisition of Nolimit City.
