Developer Nolimit City Launches Brand-New Video Slot, The Rave

The Rave Slot

Developer Nolimit City has announced the launch of its latest video slot, The Rave.

The brand-new game sees the studio whisk you away to an underground den where Joe Labrador, a.k.a. DK P5ychØ Manhunt, is headlining a gigantic party.

The Rave uses a 5×3 layout with 243 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.09% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.

The game requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include various party-goers, a necklace, a laser gun, glow-in-the-dark glasses, lollipops, headphones, wild symbols, and more.

Special Features

The Rave comes with numerous special features, including the Drop The Bass feature, where is triggered by landing two or more Scatter symbols on the reels. Landing two Scatters activates the symbols to transform into Enhancer Cells, while landing three and four Scatters triggers the Murder On The Dance Floor feature with seven or eight spins, and landing five Scatters triggers the God Is A DJ feature with 10 spins.

Enhancer Cells are positions that can land on other symbols, including xWays that reveal two to six symbols of the same kind and expand the reel height; xSplit Wild that splits each symbol on the reel and doubles the symbols; Wild that act as traditional Wild symbols;  and high-paying symbols.

If two xWays symbols land on the same reels, an expanded xWays Wild symbol is created across the entire reel. This Stacked Wild can hold up to 11 Wild symbols, and when a full screen of xWays Wild symbols land, the Busted feature is triggered.

The Rave Slot Reels

During the Murder On The Dance Floor feature, all Enhancer Cells are active for each spin. A symbol Multiplier is present on the second, third, and fourth reels and activated whenever a character symbol lands in the same position. If an xSplit symbol lands on the middle reels, it will increase the symbol Multiplier with +2x.

There are three features that can randomly trigger during the Murder On The Dance Floor feature, and they include Mashup, which turns all character symbols into the highest-paying symbol; Crossfader, which turns all low-paying symbols into Wilds; and Sidechain, which links reels two to five.

When the God Is A DJ feature is triggered, five Enhancer Cells will drop in the middle of the bottom row and remain in place throughout the bonus feature. Only high-paying symbols, xWays, Wilds, and xSplit symbols can land in the Enhancer Cells. The Enhancer Cells have a Multiplier on the middle reels, and landing an xSplit symbol will increase the Multiplier levels by +2x. You can also trigger the Mashup, Sidechain or Crossfade features here.

What They Say

Per Lindheimer, the Product Owner at Nolimit City, said in a statement: “Welcome to the party that never ends with endless light shows filling the scene and unprecedented possibilities.

“Feel the groove, and feel yourself move with our in-house music that will bring out your young rebellious side. The Rave is volatile, has tons of features popping up all over on the dance floor, and as soon as the Bass drops, you’re in for a ride.”

The launch of the games comes as Nolimit City continues to launch new casino games, including Karen Maneater, Misery Mining, Tombstone R.I.P., and more. It also comes after Evolution announced an agreement to acquire the developer.
