Developer Nolimit City has announced the launch of its brand-new video slot, Road Rage.
The game is set the morning after the studio’s previous release, The Rave, and follows a group of people in heavy traffic. Can you survive the road rage and make wins?
Road Rage uses a 5×3 layout with 259 paylines, and it has an RTP of 94.16% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The slot requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include various people in coloured squares, cups of coffee, flat tires, car scents, smartphones, and windshield mirrors too.
Road Rage is available at all Nolimit City-partnered mobile casinos, including SlotsMillion, Videoslots, PlayOJO, 44Aces, Playjango, and more.
The Road Rage slot comes with various special features. For example, all cards in the game are Wild symbols but come with different features; yellow cars increase all other symbol sizes by one on the same reel; red cars drive from right to left and increase the symbol multiplier by one point while leaving a wild symbol; green cars drive from left to right and increase the symbol multiplier by one for all symbols it drives over while leaving a Wild symbol.
Colliding cars trigger when the red and green wild cars travel toward each other on the same row and there are an odd number of symbols between them. When colliding, the multipliers on the cars are added and the result is displayed on the Colliding Wild, which remains sticky if either red or green car is sticky during the bonus mode.
Car movements are stopped by Scatter, Mystery and other Wild Cars. The car stop position will get the Cars value added to its position, and the Fuel Rage happens when three red cars are in line travelling in the same row, making the last red car rage out and lose one Drive-by Multiplier.
The game also has Mystery symbols, which only land in a bonus mode with one symbol per reel. Mystery symbols reveal either a green, red or yellow car. Revealing a colour that matches any Wild Car increases that Wild Car’s Multiplier, but if the Mystery Symbol reveals a colour of a Wild Car that isn’t present, you earn a spin. If the revealed Mystery colour matches the Sticky Wild Car, the Multiplier is increased by one point.
In the main game, Scatter symbols can land on any reel. Landing two Scatter symbols trigger a re-spin that guarantees a Wild Car on each Scatter. Landing three or more Scatter symbols actives the following; three Scatters triggers six spins on Morning Rush; four Scatters trigger eight spins on H1ghway Jam; five Scatters trigger 10 spins on City Mayh3m.
Before each bonus mode begins, the Rage Buff is activated to decide on additional spins and Multipliers. The Wild Cars will land on the last reel and move horizontally through the reels and take the effect of the road sign symbol is passes. They include Stop Signs, which stop car movement; Turn Signs, which make the car turn left, right or perform a U-turn; Freespin Sign, which awards a spin; Car Sign, which increases the Sticky Multiplier by one point; Speed Bump Sign, which increases the Drive-by Multiplier by one point; and Dice Spin, which reveals Freespin, Car or Speed Bump signs with a 2x Multiplier.
Sebastian Hovenberg, the Product Owner at Nolimit City, said in a statement: “We’ve all been there; struggling, gnawing, and swearing in one way or another -making enemies with your fellow drivers and asking yourself how they’re still alive…
“Relive these moments in our comical approach as a slot, in Road Rage! The characters are angry, drive recklessly and nothing’s going their way. Buckle up!”
The news also comes after live casino provider Evolution completed its acquisition of Nolimit City, with the firm joining the ranks of NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger Gaming, and others.
