The Gorilla Mayhem slot comes with numerous special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except the Scatter symbol. However, Wild symbols can only appear on the second, third, fourth, and fifth reels.
Golden Gorilla symbols can appear randomly on the base game on the second, third, fourth, and fifth reels and substitute for all silverback gorilla symbols. One gorilla head has a Multiplier of 1x, two gorilla heads have a Multiplier of 2x, and three gorilla heads have a multiplier of 3x.
Landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode with between 10 and 20 Free Spins. The feature has a progressive feature where all gorilla symbols are collected, and for every 40 gorilla heads, the level of the Free Spins mode is increased.
The feature starts on level one, in which Golden Gorilla symbols can hit as 1x, 2x or 3x. In level two, Golden Gorilla symbols hit as 2x or 3x and achieving level two awards three more spins.
In level three, Golden Gorilla symbols hit as 3x and achieving the level awards three more spins. After the third level, all remaining Free Spins and subsequent re-triggers are played in level three without the need to increase your level. What’s more, landing two or more Scatter symbols in the feature re-triggers it with between five and 20 spins.
