Developer Pragmatic Play has announced the launch of its latest video slot, the summer-themed Tropical Tiki.
The brand-new game whisks you away to a tropical island where reels are covered in Moai symbols and succulent jungle fruits.
Tropical Tiki uses a 6×3 layout with up to 6,400 paylines, an RTP of 96.43%, and high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The game requires a bet of between £0.25 and £125 per spin, and symbols include red, green, and blue Moai symbols, a Scatter symbol, coconuts, dragon fruit, and guava, as well as the usual A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
Tropical Tiki comes with several special features, including a cascade mechanic where, after each spin, all winning symbols and on-screen scatter symbols lock while all non-winning symbols disappear. When this happens, new symbols fall from above. New symbols can trigger more winning combinations, and the cascade reaction will continue until no new wins are made.
Scatter symbols appear on the final four reels, and when you land four or more symbols, you trigger the game’s Free Spins mode with eight spins. The Free Spins mode is played on a grid of 5×6 grid, although the top row will have locked positions that you’ll need to unlock through spins to increase the grid and number of paylines.
Alongside the above, you can purchase entry into the Free Spins mode for 100x your current bet. When you do this, four Scatter symbols will appear on the reels on your next spin, launching the Free Spins mode.
