Microgaming has launched a brand new video slot in partnership with Fortune Factory Studios.
The leading slot provider, which is known for games like Thunderstruck II and A Dark Matter, announced the launch of the new slot this week, revealing that it was developed by Fortune Factory exclusively for them.
According to Microgaming, the slot focuses on Hawaiin princess Kaia who has escaped to a tropical island paradise filled with riches and rewards, and players are tasked with helping her collect big wins.
Tiki Mania uses a 5×3 layout with 10 paylines and the reels are set at a tiki party on the island. The game is packed with vibrant symbols including drums, ukuleles, and coconut drinks alongside traditional playing card letter symbols.
Fortune Factory’s slot also includes numerous special features. For example, landing a Red Tiki Wild on the reels will trigger a re-spin during which the reel with the Red Tiki Wild remains locked in order to help make more winning combinations.
The re-spins feature includes Multiplier Wilds ranging between x1 and x3. When Multiplier Wilds or the Red Tiki Wild lands partially on the reels, they are nudged to fill the reel. What’s more, all of these Wild symbols also substitute for all symbols excluding other Wilds and the Free Spins Scatter.
The slot also has a jackpot feature in which players collect coins every time they land a Red Tiki Wild. These coins provide players with a chance to trigger the jackpot feature where they can win one of two jackpots; the Grand or Major.
Lastly, Fortune Factory’s slot has a Free Spins feature which is triggered when Princess Kaia Free Spin Scatter symbols land on the second, third, and fourth reels. When this happens, players are awarded 10 spins with a 30x multipliers. Then, during the feature, landing additional Free Spin Scatter symbols grants users one additional spin.
