NetEnt has released brand new video slot Gorilla Kingdom.
The popular online casino game developer, which is responsible for popular games such as Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest, announced the new slot last week, revealing it to be a unique, fast-paced slot.
Gorilla Kingdom whisks players away into the depths of a deep jungle where riches and wins await. The slot uses a 5×4 layout with 1,024 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.3%. Symbols in the game are based on various animals including gorillas, leopards, hornbills, okapis, pangolins, and the traditional playing card letters and symbols.
The game is packed with special features. For example, landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins where players can win between 10 to 20 free spins depending on the number of Scatters. During the feature, landing two or more Scatters will trigger additional spins.
In the base game, players can randomly land Gorilla Masks on the reels over other animal symbols. When Gorilla Masks cover six animal symbols, players trigger the Gorilla symbol which triggers a nice jackpot payout. If players cover all 24 of the animal symbols, they trigger a gigantic payout.
Bryan Upton, NetEnt’s Director of Games, said in a statement: “Gorilla Kingdom is another beast waiting to be unleashed from our portfolio.
“It’s a classic theme with NetEnt’s usual superior quality on and under the hood. The beautifully balanced game provides a strong reach for all player types and, with a strong hit frequency and pay potential from those dominant high-paying Gorilla symbols, it’s easy to follow and easy to immerse yourself in the Kingdom of the Gorillas.”
The news comes after NetEnt, which recently launched with Betfred, announced a partnership with ReelPlay Pty Limited. Under the agreement, both developers will work together to strengthen the rights of their InfiniReels and Infinity Reels gameplay mechanics.
NetEnt’s first InfiniReels game Gods Of Gold InfiniReels will debut on May 14th following the successful launch of ReelPlay’s El Dorado Infinity Reels in November last year and its sequel Giza Infinity Reels which launched earlier this month. ReelPlay is set to launch another sequel, titled Giza Infinity Reels, in June this year.
Bryan Upton said of the agreement: “In light of both companies independently following similar ideas, it made sense for us to come together to reinforce our unique propositions in a highly competitive market. I would like to commend and thank ReelPlay for their innovative approach and for working together with us in these dynamic times.”
David Johnson, the Chief Commercial Officer at ReelPlay, added: “We are happy to have agreed a collaboration with an established, global pioneer such as NetEnt.”
