NetEnt Goes Live With Betfred In UK Following Content Agreement

NetEnt

NetEnt has extended its player reach in the UK with a brand new content agreement.

The leading game developer, which is known for games such as Starburst and Dead Or Alive II, announced that it had struck a content agreement with leading online sportsbook Betfred.

According to NetEnt, the agreement sees the firm provide the sportsbook and casino site with its entire game catalogue which includes video slots as well as table and live casino content.

Some of the games to launch on Betfred via the agreement includes Twin Spin, Ocean’s Treasure, Divine Fortune, Golden Grimoire, Wild Bazaar, Witchcraft Academy, Blood Suckers II, Finn And The Swirly Spin, Jimi Hendrix, Spinata Grande, European Roulette, Jack Hammer, Texas Hold’em and more.

The content agreement extends NetEnt’s reach throughout the UK while also enhancing Betfred’s catalogue of games which already includes content from providers such as Playtech, Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger Gaming, Big Time Gaming, and more.

Speaking about the agreement, NetEnt UK’s Managing Director Andy Whitworth said: “We are obviously delighted to partner up with one of the leading UK operators with their large base of dedicated players. I’m certain that the Betfred players will enjoy our games with unique features and that our tools will help Betfred grow their business within online gaming.”

Andrew Horne, the Head of eGaming at Betfred, added: “NetEnt is and has always been known for the quality of their games. I think the upcoming roadmap looks very interesting and we look forward to offering both the classics and exciting new titles at Betfred.”

NetEnt On The Rise

The news comes just weeks after NetEnt launched its own aggregation service named NetEnt Connect. Through the platform, NetEnt, which recently launched a new jackpot mechanic, will provide operators with a wide catalogue of games all of which have joined the platform.

Currently, game providers such as Red Tiger Gaming, Games Inc, G, and Scout Gaming Group have all joined the platform as part of a move to expand their reach across the world via NetEnt’s connections and partnerships.

While expanding its player reach and launching its Connect service, NetEnt has also launched a selection of its own games. Recent releases include the underwater-themed Ocean’s Treasure and the Africa-based Serengeti Kings video slot.

If that’s not enough, the acclaimed provider attended last month’s ICE London 2020 where it unveiled plans to launch several branded video slots based on FashionTV, the Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen television show, and the best-selling arcade game Street Fighter II: The World Warrior Slot.
