Microgaming has released a brand new slot titled Tiki Vikings.
The popular slot provider, which is responsible for games such as Thunderstruck II and Immortal Romance, teamed up with fellow game provider JustForTheWin for the online slot.
Tiki Vikings is an unusual slot, combining the palm trees and pineapples of Hawaii and the cold snow and Vikings from Norse mythology.
The game uses a 5×3 layout with 20 paylines and boasts several exciting features such as the Symbol Lock Re-spin and the Symbol Upgrade, both of which can help you land bigger winning combinations.
After landing a winning combination, players trigger the Symbol Lock Re-spin feature where winning symbols are locked onto the reels during an extra spin, helping you to land more wins. Landing additional winning symbols will trigger the feature again.
Whenever players freeze symbols, the symbol upgrade meter at the side of the reels increases. Players fill the meter by landing three consecutive locked symbol re-spins. When the feature is triggered, players are rewarded with the Symbol Upgrade feature which transforms all locked symbols into the next highest-paying symbol.
