Game developer Yggdrasil has announced the release of its new slot, the feline-themed Pushy Cats.
The brand new game takes place in a vibrant game-show studio, where a host of cats are enjoying the on-stage entertainment. Pushy Cats uses a 3×5 grid layout with 20 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96%.
According to Yggdrasil, the game has high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones, and it requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin.
Symbols in the slot include Wild symbols, Vortex Bumpers, Multiplier Bumpers, Cash Bumpers, U-Turn Bumpers, Extra Wild Bumpers, Bonus Bumpers, bells, ham, a single fish, pairs of fish, and the traditional A, K, Q, and J symbols too.
The Pushy Cats slot comes with numerous special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for all regular symbols to help create additional wins.
Landing three Wild symbols triggers the Bonus Game, which features a Multiplier applied to all wins that increases by one point for every winning spin. The Bonus Game also has Walking Wild that move one slot position on each spin if possible.
When triggered, the game’s Bumper symbols surround the slot’s grid. When a Wild symbol lands on a Bumper, it moves back to its original position and triggers the Bumper. All Bumpers are converted into Vortexes once triggered, and the Bonus Game ends when there are no Wilds left on the reels.
The Bumpers available in the game include; Vortex Bumpers remove Wild symbols from the reels; Multiplier Bumpers add a Multiplier of between 1x and 5x to your win; Cash Bumpers award a cash prize of between 1x and 50x; U-Turn Bumpers bounce the Wild symbol back onto the reels; Extra Wild Bumpers add up to two Wild symbols to the reels; Bonus Bumpers add new Bumpers to the grid.
The Bonus Game has a total of four levels that determine the number and type of Bumpers available in the Bonus Game; the higher the level, the fewer Vortex Bumpers. The Bonus Game level is randomly selected before the feature begins.
The Pushy Cats slot has a Gamble feature where you can gamble for a higher Bonus Game level for additional Bumpers. If you lose the gamble, you also lose the Bonus game.
Finally, you can buy entry into the Bonus Game for a fee. You’ll have two options; levels one to three of the Bonus Game or the fourth max level. There’s also the Golden Bet, which increases the chance of triggering the Bonus Game.

Pushy Cats is the latest video slot to be developed solely by Yggdrasil, and it follows the release of other titles like Casino Zeppelin Reloaded and Gator Gold Deluxe Gigablox.
