Lightning Box

Developer Lightning Box has launched a small selection of its online slot games with 32Red Casino.

The Australian-based game developer announced the agreement this week, revealing that it’s launched its games with Kindred Group’s leading online casino site 32Red under an aggregation deal with Microgaming.

Under the agreement, seven of Lightning Box’s games have launched with 32Red and are available to registered users, including popular titles such as Silver Lioness4x and Golden Yak.

Peter Causley, the CEO and Co-founder of Lightning Box, said in a statement: “Our aggregation deal with Microgaming has reaped rewards in the last few years and no more so than with this latest deal with 32Red.

“It is always exciting to see our games go live with a new operator and we are looking forward to seeing how they are received by their extensive customer base.”

Graeme Powrie, the Director of Aggregation at Microgaming, added: “Lightning Box are talented game developers who have been producing proven content for some time now. We’re delighted to facilitate this integration with 32Red.”

The announcement comes as Lightning Box continues to strike deals to expand its player reach around the world. Earlier this year, the game developer successfully launched in Michigan via a distribution agreement with partner SG Digital.

Under the agreement, Lightning Box launched three of its most popular slots – Chicken Fox, Lightning Horseman and Lightning Le0pard – with operators BetMGM, Golden Nugget and Rush St. The launch in Michigan follows from Lightning Box’s launch in Pennsylvania in 2020 and its launch in New Jersey with Amaya in 2014.

ReelPlay Launches New Slot With Yggdrasil

Meanwhile, leading game developer ReelPlay has launched a brand new video slot with Yggdrasil via the studio’s YG Masters program, of which The Games Company and other independent studios are part. The fantasy game, titled Thor Infinity Reels, is based on Norse mythology and follows the legendary Thor.

The slot, deployed with Yggdrasil’s GATI technology, begins with three reels, but with each spin, players are offered the chance to add new reels for a chance to trigger more wins and reach the game’s jackpot. The game’s reels can expand to a whopping 15 reels where a Jackpot Prize of 888x the player’s bet can be won.

There are several other features in the game, including Jackpot Respins as well as Wild Symbols, Multipliers, Scatter Symbols, and more, all designed to increase wins and provide players with more entertainment.

Stuart McCarthy, the Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil, said in a statement: “Launching yet another title through our YG Masters program powered by GATI ensures that players will continue to be provided with flawless gaming experiences.

“The gripping theme and progressive mechanics on display in Thor Infinity Reelsmakes it one of our most ambitious productions to date, and we look forward to producing more high-quality content as the year progresses.”

David Johnson, the CEO at ReelPlay, added: “We’re immensely proud of Thor Infinity Reels which continues to showcase the strength of our Sydney-based creative studio. Thor developers the bonus feature that has proven so popular in our Hypernova MegaWays game and provides an Infinity Reels twist for a really stunning visual.

“Credit to the talented ream at Yggdrasil, whose GATI technology enables ReelPlay’s games to continue to reach new audiences. We are delighted to see another game successfully deployed through the YG Masters program.”

Thor Infinity Reels is the latest game released by Yggdrasil, following on from releases such as Johnan Legendarian, Easter Island 2, Desperate Dogs, Viking Runes, Buster Hammer Carnival, El Dorado Infinity Reels, and many more.
