Pragmatic Play, AvatarUX, Yggdrasil And Inspired Release New Slots

Book Of Vikings

Game developers Pragmatic Play, AvatarUX, Yggdrasil, and Inspired Entertainment have all released new video slots.

Pragmatic Play, which recently extended its content agreement with 32Red, has released its new Norse mythology-themed Book Of Vikings slot, which the developer says “embraces Scandinavian adventures”.

The game features comic book-inspired visuals, a classical instrumental soundtrack, and symbols that are all based on classic Norse mythology.

Book Of Vikings is high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent big wins over frequent small ones, and comes with several special features, including a free spins mode where landing a special expanding symbol boosts the chances of big wins.

Other special features include the Magic Book, which triggers the free spins mode in which random symbols can transform into the expanding Mystery Symbol to fill entire reels and trigger more wins.

Yossi Barzely, the Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said in a statement: “Our previous Norse-themed release was dominated by an all-female warrior cast, but this time we see Viking royalty grace the helm of the ship.

“Book Of Vikings utilises a gorgeous aesthetic and combines it with simplified gameplay to provide a winning experience for players of all ages and demographics.”

The launch of Book Of Vikings follows previous Pragmatic Play game releases, including Lucky, Grace & Charm, several new Blackjack tables, Empty The Bank, 5 Lions MegaWays, Lucky Lightning, Dragon Hot Hold & Spin, Heart Of Rio, Panda’s Fortune 2, and numerous other titles.

Inspired Releases Hot Joker 4-Ways

Meanwhile, game developer Inspired Entertainment has announced the release of its Hot Joker 4-Ways video slot.

The joker-themed online slot uses a 6×4 layout with 50 paylines, and the game has an RTP of 95%. It also has medium variance, which means players are given an equal chance at making both big and small wins.

Hot Joker 4-Ways has numerous special features, including a Free Spins mode, which offers four chances to win big cash payouts. Meanwhile, collecting enough Gold Stars triggers the Pick Me feature where players can select between the Free Spins or Super Free Spins mode.

According to EuropeanGaming, the Free Spins mode is played on one set of reels, while the Super Free Spins mode is played on all four sets of reels. The game also includes stacked Wild symbols to help make even more wins.

Claire Osborne, the Vice President of Interactive at Inspired Entertainment, said in a statement: “We’re turning up the heat with the launch of Hot Joker 4-Ways, a fast-paced and visually impactful slot title that looks amazing for mobile customers in both landscape and portrait play.

“Its sizzling hot joker-themed reels deliver an entertaining iGaming experience, while keeping players fully engaged with lucrative cash pay-outs. We’re thrilled to be adding Hot Joker 4-Ways to our growing portfolio of fun and popular online slot games.”

AvatarUX Launches PapayaPop Slot

AvatarUX has also released a new video slot, PapayaPop, which is the latest release in the developer’s PopWins slot series.

The Art Deco-themed online slot uses a 5×3 reel layout with 486 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96%. The game has high variance, which means you’re likely to make infrequent big wins when playing.

In terms of special features, the game utilises the PopWins mechanic, where winning symbols pop and two new symbols take their place. What’s more, the game’s reel can expand by up to six symbols in the base game and up to nine in the slot’s Free Spins mode.

PapayaPop also has an unlimited Free Spins mode, which is triggered by expanding the reels to their max height. When this happens, players earn six free spins and for every winning spin, the count is reset. Every new spin also increases the multiplier to help create bigger wins.

Finally, before accepting the free spins, players can gamble their Unlimited Free Spins mode for a higher starting multiplier and reels or lose the Free Spins mode entirely.

The game is now available at all partnered casino operators and will release with all Yggdrasil YG Masters program partners on September 6th.

Marcus Honney, the Managing Director at AvatarUX, said in a statement: “Our PopWins collection has been an incredible success for us and we’re delighted at how it has been received by players all over the globe.

“PapayaPop takes an Art Deco theme and adds even more excitement for players through the gamble wheel, where even bigger wins await for those who dare to risk it.”

Yggdrasil Partners With BB Games, ReelPlay For New Martian Miner Infinity Reels Slot

Finally, Yggdrasil has also released a brand new slot; Martian Miner Infinity Reels.

The studio’s new slot, developed by BB Games in partnership with ReelPlay for the YG Masters program, is set in the future and follows a mining expedition on the mysterious Red Planet.

The game uses a 3×4 layout with an RTP of 96.06% and high variance. Rather than using a traditional payline mechanic, the game uses its Infinity Reels mechanic where new reels are added with every winning combination.

What’s more, the slot has a Free Spins mode, a Bonus Buy option that allows users to buy the game’s special bonus mode, and multiple game levels to keep all players interested and entertained.

Stuart McCarthy, the Head of Product and programs at Yggdrasil, said in a statement: “The Infinity Reels mechanic continues to thrill players and this title comes with additional immersive features that take the experience to the next level.

“With its mobile-first game design and popular theme, Martian Miner Infinity Reels is an excellent addition to the YG Masters portfolio.”

David Johnson, the CEO at ReelPlay, added: “Our studio partners continue to deliver boundary-pushing content which we’re delighted to help to market. BB Games have taken ReelPlay’s Infinity Reels and made it their own in how it’s represented within Martian Mine Infinity Reels.”
