Yggdrasil has launched a brand new video slot titled Avatars: Gateway Guardians.
The popular casino games developer, which is known for games such as Age Of Asgard and Cazino Cosmos, announced the brand new video slot this week, revealing that it was designed exclusively for LeoVegas Casino.
According to Yggdrasil’s official announcement, the new slot will take players on an intergalactic journey. In the game, the Gateway has been barred off to earthlings and players are tasked with freeing Avatars from the Gateway while collecting wins along the way.
Avatars: GateWay Guardians uses a unique orbital reels layout which is comprised of six sections slit into three smaller pieces. Rather than landing matching symbols, players are tasked with aligning three parts of a symbol in any of the six sections to create one complete symbol.
What’s more, the game includes numerous special features including the Hot Spot in which a section is highlighted on the orbital reel. If customers create a win on the Hot Spot, the Multiplier Wheel is triggered, awarding up to a 101x multiplier.
Landing three Free Spins symbols anywhere on the orbital reel triggers the Free Spins feature where players are instantly awarded 10 spins. In the Free Spins feature, the orbital reel is made of eight sections with an additional two to eight Hot Spots, determined by the number of Free Spins symbols that had landed.
