Swedish Casino Player Wins €1.4M On NetEnt’s ‘Arabian Nights’ Slot

Swedish Player Wins Big On NetEnt Slot

A Swedish casino player has won a gigantic jackpot on a popular NetEnt slot.

An anonymous Swedish player registered at Hajper Casino, operated by ComeOn, has made headlines after winning a giant €1,422,545.44 (Around £1,216,520.71) jackpot on NetEnt’s famous Arabian Nights video slot.

According to the game developer’s official announcement, the player won the large sum with a €10 wager. The jackpot was triggered when the player landed five Aladdin Wild symbols during the game’s Free Spins feature.

The critically acclaimed slot was one of the first jackpot games developed by NetEnt. Released in November 2013, the game uses a 5×3 grid layout with 10 paylines and various symbols such as swords, camels, as well as the traditional playing card letters and numbers.

Arabian Nights is also packed with special features including a Scatter, three of which can trigger 15 free spins where wins are tripled, as well as Wild symbols which double all wins.

Bryan Upton, the Director of Games at NetEnt, said in a statement: “Arabian Nights is such a legendary game in the jackpot segment. It has created instant millionaires continuously since it’s release back in 2005.”

He added: “We are thrilled the game yet again has delivered a life-changing win and would like to extend our congratulations to the player.”

NetEnt in the News

The unnamed Swedish player hasn’t been the only person to win big on a NetEnt slot this year. Back in September, a British player managed to win €3.3 million jackpot with a 50p bet while playing Mega Fortune at Gate 777, an online casino operated by White Hat Gaming Limited.

News of the win comes just days after the game provider launched three unique online slots. Last week, NetEnt launched its highly-anticipated slot Ozzy Osbourne based on the rock legend. The slot is packed with special features, includes licensed music from the singer, and was designed specifically for Osbourne’s fans.

Earlier in November, NetEnt launches slots Who’s The Bride?, an Asian wedding-themed online slot, and Reel Rush 2, a sequel to the incredibly popular 2013 video slot Reel Rush.

Alongside these slots and many more, NetEnt has also been busy working on other projects. In October, the game developer launched its Network Branded Casino, a new product which was developed to provide operators with more control of their live casino offerings.

In September, NetEnt successfully acquired Red Tiger Gaming, a software provider known for its critically acclaimed jackpot slots such as Pirates’ Plenty as well as its jackpot features which allow customers to win large prizes every day and every hour.
