A British user at Gate 777 has made headlines after landing a huge €3.3 million win on a NetEnt slot.
The user, who wishes to remain anonymous, triggered the €3.3 million jackpot on NetEnt’s Mega Fortune after making a bet of just 50 cents on Gate 777, an online casino operated by White Hat Gaming.
NetEnt’s Mega Fortune is a 5×3 slot with 25 paylines that launched back in 2009. The game is packed with numerous features including the Free Spins and Jackpot Bonus Game features, providing players with a chance to make large wins just as the Gate 777 user managed to do.
Bryan Upton, the Director of Games at NetEnt, said in a statement: “We are thrilled that Mega Fortune has again created another instant multi-millionaire and delivered a life-changing win. Since their releases, Mega Fortune and its sibling titles have generated an astonishing 60 one-million-plus euro jackpots.
“We know that the chance of hitting it real big is something that players really love. Therefore, we’ve made a push to add even more exciting jackpot games to our portfolio. Stay tuned for more innovation in this space from NetEnt.”
Ronna Shilon, the CEO at Gate 777, added: “On behalf of everyone at Gate 777, I extend huge congratulations to our big winner. We are beyond thrilled when our players have a fantastic experience with us and when they win. We work hard to bring them the best slot and table games the industry has to offer, and we look forward to seeing more and more winners on Gate 777.”
The Gate 777 user’s jackpot is one of the few big wins to have occurred in 2019. Back in May, we reported that a Betsson player landed a €3.1 million win on Yggdrasil’s Joker Million slot with a bet of €1.35 during the Easter break.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Microgaming’s Mega Moolah had paid out twice in a space of 48 hours back in March, with one player winning over €11,000,000 and a second player winning over €2,000,000 in the same week.
Early 2019 also saw a Finnish Casumo Casino player win €45,107 on NetEnt’s Divine Fortune, a popular online slot that features three progressive jackpots.
More recently, Red Tiger Gaming, now owned by NetEnt, revealed in August that its Daily Drop Jackpot Network had paid out over £2.5 million to players since its launch in April this year.
