Gambling Closures In The UK

EEG has stated the reason it’s closing the SportNation and RedZone brands in the UK is for a “variety of reasons”, including the “economics of operating a small gaming business in the UK market”.

The operator joins the numerous other groups that have pulled out of the United Kingdom, including and Novibet.

Meanwhile, numerous other brands have had their gambling licenses suspended in the UK, such as LEBOM and bookmaker Goldchip.

The above suspensions and closures all come as the gambling industry in the UK faces turmoil as the repeatedly delayed review of the Gambling Act 2005 looms, with numerous changes expected as the outcome of the review.
