Developer Pragmatic Play has announced the launch of Floating Dragon MegaWays Hold & Spin.
The game is a remake of its Floating Dragon Hold & Spin slot on the MegaWays engine, offering an exciting and unpredictable twist on the already popular slot title.
Floating Dragon MegaWays Hold & Spin uses a 6×6 grid layout with the chance to unlock additional reels above the main playing area. The slot has up to 236,196 paylines with an RTP of 96.70% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make large, infrequent wins when playing.
The game requires a bet of between £0.20 and £250 per spin, with symbols that include kites shaped as sailboats, colourful birds, butterflies, and people. There are also fish, Wild symbols, and the usual A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
The Floating Dragon MegaWays Hold & Spin slot can be found at most mobile casinos, including PlayOJO, 44Aces, Playjango, SpinGenie, Casumo, All British Casino, Videoslots, and more.
The game comes with numerous special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except Scatter, Lady, and Coin Money symbols. However, Wild symbols can only appear on the topmost row of the slot’s reels.
Since the game s based on the MegaWays mechanic, a random number of up to six symbols can appear per reel, and the number of paylines changes with each spin too. What’s more, there’s a Tumble mechanic, where winning symbols fall from the reels and are replaced by new symbols that continue this chain reaction until no new symbols land.
There are also Fish Money symbols, which take a random value from a pre-defined set with each spin worth between 2x and 5,000x your bet. In the main game, the symbols explore and tumble normally, but in the Free Spins mode, the symbols simply fall to the bottom of the screen.
Meanwhile, Mystery symbols can randomly appear in the base game or Free Spins mode. In the base game, all instances of it will transform into the same paying symbol. In the Free Spins mode, Mystery symbols can appear and transform into other symbols after a spin lands a Lady symbol with no Fish Money symbols.
Landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode, with up to 25 free spins available. During the feature, the Lady symbol can appear on all reels, excluding the topmost row. The Lady symbol collects all values from the on-screen Fish Money symbols, and the Lady symbols are collected until the end of the feature.
Every fourth Lady symbol collected will retrigger the feature, award 10 spins, and a Multiplier for the Fish Money symbols, starting at 2x up to x10 and beyond. When a Lady symbol appears on screen with no Fish Money symbols, a firecracker animation can add Fish Money symbols to the reels.
Landing three or more Coin Money symbols triggers the Hold & Spin Bonus, with the triggering Coin Money symbols held in place and are added to the total win of the round. The bonus starts with three re-spins and all new Coin Money symbols reset the re-spin count.
Diamond Money Symbols can appear during the bonus to take a random value of between 50x and 2,000x your bet. If all re-spins have been used, but the minimum prize of 20x your bet hasn’t been reached, three re-spins are awarded. The feature ends when no re-spins are left and the 20x bet prize has been surpassed.
Finally, you are given options to purchase entry into the Free Spins mode for 100x your bet and the Hold & Spin feature for 120x your total bet.
Irina Cornides, the Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said in a statement: “Augmenting one of our most popular titles of 2021 and adding MegaWays, locking and unlocking reels and two bonus rounds has positioned Floating DragonMegaWays Hold & Spin to be as adored as highly as the original release.
“The title not only offers new exciting features but is influenced heavily by its predecessor creating a title that will appeal to both new and existing fans of the franchise.”
