Developer Pragmatic Play has unleashed its wild new video slot, The Ultimate 5.
The brand new casino game is set in the plains of the savanna and follows some of Africa’s most majestic beasts, including lions, rhinos, buffalo, leopards, elephants, and more. The game uses a 5×3 layout with 20 paylines and an RTP of 96.50%.
It has high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones, and it requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin. Symbols include all of the above animals, as well as Wild tree symbols, diamond Scatter symbols, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols.
The game comes with several special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except the Free Spins and Money symbols. It also does not substitute for the five of a kind animal symbols.
Landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode, rewarding you with either eight, 10 or 12 spins. During the feature, at random spins, the reel sets will level up and progressively remove the lowest value symbol from the reels, starting with the 10 symbol up to the A symbol.
Every time a random level-up happens, a Wild symbol is guaranteed to land on the spin that the level up happened on. Meanwhile, Free Spins overlay symbols can land during the feature to trigger between two to eight more spins.
The game also has a Money symbol that appears on the second, third, and fourth reels during the base game and on all reels during the Hold & Spin Super Boost. At every spin, the Money symbol will take a random value of between 500 and 1x your total bet. Landing three or more Money symbols triggers the Hold & Spin Super Boost.
During the feature, normal symbols fade and are replaced by only Money symbols. Whenever a Money symbol lands and is adjacent vertically or horizontally with another Money symbol, they link to form a group, and all values are increased to the next value.
The feature starts with three respins, and all Money symbols that land and link after each respin remain on the reels until the end of the round. Whenever one Money symbol lands and links, the respin counter is reset to three, and the feature continues until all respins are used or all positions are filled with Money symbols.
