Developer Play’n GO has announced the release of their latest slot, Tale Of Kyubiko.
The brand new casino game is inspired by the Japanese folklore deity Inari, who reportedly symbolises prosperity and success. In the game, Inari, who can take on the appearance of either a fox or human, appears to late-night travellers and leads them to her lair, where treasures await.
Tale Of Kyubiko uses a 3×3 slot layout with five paylines, and it has an RTP of 94.29%. The game has medium variance, which means you’re given an equal chance to make both big and small wins.
The game requires bets of between £0.10 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include Inari the fox, as well as anthropomorphic rabbits, toads, birds, a stacked INari fox symbol, and the traditional playing card suits too.
There are a few special features in Tale Of Kyubiko, including the Inari symbols that act as Wild symbols and substitutes for all other symbols to help you make wins. There’s also a Stacked Wild symbol that can randomly appear on the reels either fully or partially, substituting for all symbols.
There’s also the Inari’s Dance mechanic where wins with the Stacked Wild triggers respins with an increasing Multiplier of up to 25x. The Inari Stacked Wild moves to a random reel with each Respin.
Finally, the game has the Inari’s Fortune mechanic where, when the Stacked Wild lands partially, there’s a chance the symbol is nudged to cover the entire reel, form additional wins and trigger a Respin.
