A group of pub poker players win the trip of a lifetime to dazzling Las Vegas to compete to be crowned the UK Pub Poker Champion.

Organised by Redtooth Poker, VEGAS100 is the largest live pub poker league in the UK. Since its launch 13 years ago, the league owns over 1,000 venues and has more than 200,000 registered players.

To secure their place as a qualifier for the prestigious VEGAS100 event, players compete with each other at a number of live events across the UK. Redtooth Poker rewards talented pub poker players with prizes worth more than £270,000 throughout the year.

Trip of a Lifetime to Las Vegas

The 100 qualifiers and guests will travel to Las Vegas in May 2019 for a chance to take home a slice of the attractive £25,000 prize pool. A sponsorship deal of £5,000 for the coming year highlights the winner’s prize. The title of Player of the Year will also be awarded to one of the players in Vegas.

On top of that, an additional tournament offering more than £6,000 worth of prize will be available to VEGAS100 players and guests. The rewards involve a return trip to Vegas and a seat into a 2020 World Series of Poker event.

“We are delighted to finally secure our 100 players for the trip to Las Vegas. All have done remarkably well to reach this stage, progressing through from their local pubs to numerous regional and national tournaments,” said Martin Green, Redtooth Poker’s managing director.

“These are the best pub poker players in the UK so they fully deserve this once in a lifetime trip to America,”

Tim Osborn, the VEGAS100 winner of 2018, will also be heading to Vegas to defend his crown. Osborn’s sponsorship prize has allowed him to take part in multiple events across the UK at Grosvenor Casinos this year. Throughout the year, he has got his hands on winnings of about £10,000.

Redtooth Poker is based in Barlborough, North Derbyshire. Its 2018/19 poker league kicked off earlier this year and had welcomed a number of new venues into the league.
