Microgaming Announces Release Of New Deadmau5 Branded Video Slot
Microgaming has announced the release of a Deadmau5 branded video slot.
The popular game provider, which is known for games such as Immortal Romance and Book Of Atem, announced the news on its website this week, revealing that the game will be developed by partnered studio Eurostar Studios.
According to Microgaming, the new slot will be themed on six-time Grammy-nominated Deadmau5, a popular electronic music producer and DJ. The game itself will be based on Deadmau5’s latest tour cube v3 which has been praised for its stunning visuals created by the DJ himself.
Unfortunately, Microgaming hasn’t yet announced any other information on the slow but the firm’s announcement states that Microgaming will be “celebrating the game’s development alongside several other branded reveals at ICE London 2020.”
Microgaming’s Jean-Luc Ferriere, the Chief Commercial Officer, said in a statement: “The addition of Deadmau5 to our sizeable branded content offering, which already includes some of the biggest names in entertainment, highlights our commitment to diversifying and innovating across our range. We look forward to launching this unique online slot to operators later this year.”
Tarzan’s Branded Slots
The news comes after Microgaming revealed that it had recently renewed a licensing agreement with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc., to create a brand new Tarzan branded video slot. The firms’ new partnership extends on a previous agreement under which Microgaming developed and released a Tarzan slot.
Under the new partnership, the Microgaming’s second Tarzan video slot will be developed by Fortune Factory Studios, an independent studio who develops games exclusively for Microgaming such as Village People Macho Moves, Long Mu Fortunes, and Tiki Mania.
According to Microgaming, the brand new video slot will be based on Edgar Rice Burrough’s series of novels and will follow on from Microgaming’s original Tarzan slot. However, Fortune Factory Studios’ new video slot will feature modern-day graphics as well as a plethora of special features.
Although Microgaming didn’t reveal a release date for the game, the firm did state that it will release this year and will be showcased at this week’s ICE London 2020 conference. There, Microgaming will officially unveil the slot, announce its name and showcase a slew of other titles.
Jean-Luc Ferriere said of the partnership: “We are excited to extend our brand partnership with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. to create the next iteration of Tarzan, a timeless character and brand with worldwide appeal. The upcoming game from Fortune Factory Studios will be one of several new branded slots to launch on Microgaming’s platform this year as we continue to diversify, extend and refresh our content offering.”
