Developer AvatarUX has announced the launch of its brand-new PopWins video slot, KokeshiPop.
The game encourages players to follow the lights of lanterns that are filled with the precious ghost flame to unlock wins and other secrets too.
KokeshiPop uses a 5×3 grid layout with up to 19,208 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.09% with medium variance, which means you’re given a chance to land both big and small wins.
The game requires a bet of between £0.2 and £40 per spin, and its symbols include Bonus and Wild Neko symbols, as well as a person, a person wearing a cat mask, a person with a sword, a person with a blue lantern, a cat mask, a sword, a blue lantern, and the usual royal card symbols too.
KokeshiPop comes with several special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for all other symbols to help make more wins. However, Wild symbols only appear during the Free Spins mode.
The game is also based on the PopWins mechanic, where every winning symbol is replaced by two symbols that increase the reel’s height. This continues as long as more wins are made, expanding the grid to up to six symbols tall in the base game and seven in the Free Spins mode.
Unlocking reels during the base game rewards a random Multiplier of 5x, 10x or 20x. The Multiplier doubles on each subsequent win but resets between spins.
Meanwhile, landing three, four or five Scatter symbols in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, which starts at four symbols high. Three Scatter symbols award five spins, four Scatters award eight spins, and five Scatters award 12 spins.
Before playing the Free Spins mode, you’ll be able to increase the number of spins by spinning the Gamble Wheel. Losing the gamble takes you back to the base game without the free spins. The gamble starts at five spins and increases to eight and then 12 with each subsequent win.
The Free Spins start with a 1x Multiplier, and each consecutive win doubles the Multiplier. Fully unlocked the reels awards the Kokeshi Multiplier, where the existing Multiplier is multiplied by a random Multiplier of 5x, 10x or 20x. What’s more, fully unlocking the reels awards two additional spins.
Finally, there’s the Buy Bonus that allows entry into the Freee Spins for 60 bets, and the Max Buy Bonus that awards the maximum number of 12 spins for 240 bets.
