Game developer AvatarUX has announced the release of its brand-new slot, RagingPop.
The new video slot is set in the African savannah desert and is based on AvatarUX’s hugely popular PopWins game engine, in which symbols pop into smaller versions to extend the game’s reels over playtime.
RagingPop uses a 6×4 layout with 235,298 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The slot requires a bet of between £0.20 and £40 per spin, and symbols include rhinos, cheetahs, buffalo, crocodiles, birds, fish, butterflies, and the usual A, K, Q, and J symbols.
The RagingPop slot comes with various special features. Since it’s based on the PopWins engine, winning symbols in the Free Spins mode pop and are replaced by two more symbols, increasing the reel height u to seven symbols tall.
The game has Wild symbols that appear during the Free Spins mode and substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus symbol. Meanwhile, landing three or more Bonus symbols triggers the Free Spins mode with up to 25 spins on offer.
The Free Spins mode starts at four symbols tall but can be increased. For every 10 consecutive spins, the reels will grow by one symbol.
RagingPop also has a Raging Rhino feature, where the reels can randomly grow to between five and seven symbols tall on any spin.
Finally, the game has a Gamble Wheel, allowing you to decide whether to gamble for more spins before the Free Spins mode starts. You can win up to 30 spins, but losing the gamble kicks you back into the base game.
Nicola Longmuir, the CEO at AvatarUX, said of the game: “We’ve explored a plethora of dynamic themes in our PopWins series and in RagingPop, we’ve journeyed to the African savannah for an immersive adventure.
“Combining numerous features, huge multipliers, and a max win of 20,000x, it is another high volatility adventure that gives players the chance to enjoy the spectacular AvatarUX slots.”
