Wazdan Shortlisted For SBC’s Rising Star In Casino Innovation Award

Wazdan

Slot developer Wazdan has revealed it’s been shortlisted for SBC Awards’ Rising Star in Casino Innovation award.

The popular game developer, known for slots such as Power Of The Gods: The Pantheon and Relic Hunters And The Book Of Faith, revealed the news this week in a blog post on its website.

Wazdan explained that it had been nominated for the award at the 2019 Sports Betting Community (SBC) Awards which is set to take place on December 3rd, reportedly bringing together over 700 guests and recognising achievements in the gambling industry across 41 award categories.

According to Wazdan, the categories include 14 Operator awards, three Affiliate awards, two Specialist awards, four Payment awards as well as 18 Supplier awards.

Wazdan was only shortlisted for one of the awards and faces stiff competition from the likes of BetGames. TV, Stakelogic, Green Jade Games, WEARECASINO, Playzido Limited, Evoplay Entertainment, TVBET, QTech Games and many more.

The software provider has managed to develop a series of well-known and popular games, but its innovation award nomination comes from Wazdan’s unique mobile game features.

Wazdan has developed several unique Wazdan features that change how games are played on mobile. Some of the features include Volatility Levels which allows users to modify their win size, Energy Saving Mode which extends the player’s smartphone’s battery, Double Screen Mode which allows users to play in portrait mode and many more.

A Big Year For Wazdan

Wazdan’s Head of Sales Andrzej Hyla said in a statement: “It’s an honour to be shortlisted for the Rising Star in Casino Innovation Award. We pride ourselves on being an innovative company, designing innovative slot games, and the recognition means a lot to our team.

“We are excited for the results of the SBC Awards, to cheer on the success of the community, and enjoy a celebration of the hard work our team have put in throughout the year.”

The online software developer has had a hugely busy year after striking partnerships with various casino operators and platforms including the Kindred Group, LeoVegas, Mr Green, Hero Gaming, Betzest and Microgaming’s Quickfire.

In addition, Wazdan applied for licenses in various jurisdictions to expand its player reach. It now operates in jurisdictions including the UK, Malta, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, Romania and Mexico.

Meanwhile, Wazdan has continued to develop and release new slots including its most recent Greek-themed game Power Of Gods: The Pantheon which is packed with special features which help players make more winning combinations.
