The leading game developer, which is known for its wide catalogue of casino games, has this week announced the launch of a new dedicated Sky Vegas-themed live casino game studio as part of the developer’s partnership with operator Sky Betting & Gaming, which owns Sky Vegas.
According to Playtech, the new dedicated studio will be hosted at Playtech’s state-of-the-art Live Casino studio in Riga. At launch, the new studio will feature Playtech’s Live Roulette and Live All Bets Blackjack games, both of which allow for an unlimited number of players to play together.

The level of detail that has gone into the production of the new Sky Vegas studio is the highest level currently offered by the Live industry today – we are thrilled to be working with the fantastic Sky Vegas team to create the most engaging responsible gambling entertainment experience for their players.”
Speaking on live casino content, leading game developer Pragmatic Play has announced the launch of its new Dragon Tiger live casino game.
The new title offers a live take on the classic multi-player card casino game where players bet on which card they believe has the highest value with the Dragon and Tiger bets or by betting on a tie.
Playtech’s new slot is broadcasted from the developer’s state-of-the-art studio with 4K cameras, professionally trained dealers, and the latest audio technology too. The launch of the games comes after the release of Pragmatic Play’s Baccarat, Roulette, ONE Blackjck, and Mega Roulette titles.
Yossi Barzely, the Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said in a statement: “Our live casino offering continues to be extremely well received across the globe and we’re happy to bolster it with Dragon Tiger.
“An exciting, fast-paced game sure to appeal to players globally, it is yet another example of our dedication to bringing engaging live casino games to players worldwide.”
The news comes after Pragmatic Play announced an increase to its Drops & Wins prize pool, raising it to £5,000 on video slots and adding an entirely new prize pool to its live casino games for a combined £10,000 prize pool each month.
Also this week, game developer Wazdan announced the launch of a new Hold The Jackpot slot, Sun Of Fortune. The game uses a 4×4 layout and the game uses a cluster pays mechanic, requiring a minimum cluster of eight symbols to create a win.
According to Wazdan, the slot includes various symbols, including dragons, turtle dragons, koi fish, a Chinese phoenix, and more. Alongside that, the game includes wild symbols that substitute for all other symbols except for bonus symbols, which turn sticky and trigger respins.
Landing six or more golden bonus symbols on any spin activates the Sun Of Fortune Hold The Jackpot bonus. In this feature, players are given three respins, which reset every time a new bonus symbol lands. All bonus symbols have an assigned cash value and there are Mini, Minor, and Major jackpots available to win.
Finally, like all other Wazdan games, the new Sun Of Fortune Hold The Jackpot slot is compatible with all of the developer’s unique gaming solutions, such as Ultra Fast Mode, Big Screen Mode, customisable volatility levels, and the Buy Feature that allows players to reach the jackpot bonus at any time.
Andrzej Hyla, the Chief Commerical Officer at Wazdan, said in a statement: “Our latest hit takes the innovative Hold The Jackpot feature and brings it to a fast-paced 4×4 matrix grid. With big jackpots added on top of other stellar wins, we can’t wait to see how the game is received by our players globally.”
Wazdan isn’t the only developer releasing new content this week as High 5 Games launched its brand new Run Amuck slot., which sees players visit a hidden laboratory.
The brand new slot uses a 7×7 layout with a cluster pays mechanic and it has an RTP of 96%. It also includes several notable special features designed to help create more wins for the player. They include a free spins mode, respins, wild symbols, scatter symbols, and an avalanche and cascading wins mechanic where winning symbols disappear and are replaced by new ones.
High 5 Games’ Run Amuck slot launched yesterday (April 29) and can be found on all High 5 Games’ partnered online casino websites.
Speaking about the new game, Lauren Gazneli of High 5 Games, told European Gaming: “We are currently creating around 20 new games every quarter globally and believe this is why global giants like Bet365 and the Stars Group are clients.
“Run Amuck’s 7×7 reel game involves players having to avoid slipping on filthy lucre they negotiate through the gooey chemical creatures that rule the petri dish!”
Gazneli added: “High 5 Games now have a growing, licensed, footprint in the US and are already active in Michigan and New Jersey with new jurisdictions already pending.”
