Play’n GO Releases New Magical Video Slot, Merlin’s Grimoire

Merlin's Grimoire Slot

Developer Play’n GO has announced the launch of its latest video slot, Merlin’s Grimoire.

The game is the latest addition to the studio’s Arthurian Legend series, and it follows a young and experienced Merlin as he embarks on a search for the Grimoire, an ancient book of spells that holds secrets to the art of magic and Merlin’s destiny.

Merlin’s Grimoire uses a 5×3 layout with 7,776 paylines, and it has an RTP of 94.2% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.

The slot requires a bet of between £0.10 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include the Grimoire, Merlin himself, a staff, a potion vial, an ancient scroll, and various coins with rune inscriptions.

Special Features

The Merlin’s Grimoire slot comes with several special features, including Wild Scatter symbols – represented by the Grimoire – that substitute for all symbols within the game. Landing three or more Wild Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode.

At the start of the Free Spins mode, an Expanding symbol is randomly selected and can expand to cover multiple positions and make additional wins.

The slot also has Splitting symbols, where selected reels split all symbols to help double the number of winning paylines. This feature is available in both the main game and the Free Spins mode.

What They Say

Charlotte Miliziano, the Head of Games at Play’n GO, said in a statement: “Players and operators love the Arthurian Legend titles that we develop because even in one series there are so many tastes accommodated.

“Fans of Merlin now have four titles to choose from and for the hopeless romantics, there’s 15 Crystal Roses: A Tale Of Love, for the lover of lore, The Green Knight. I could go on…”

The release of Merlin’s Grimoire comes after the launch of other slots from Play’n GO, including *NSYNC Pop, Pyramids Of Dead, Rocco Gallo, King’s Mask, Animal Madness, and more.
