Play’n GO have announced the release of the firm’s latest musical-themed slot, Black Mamba.
The leading software provider, which is known for games such as Honey Rush and Tome Of Madness, announced the new slot this week, revealing that it’s based on Italian rock band Black Mamba.
Play’n GO’s new release follows the launch of previous musical slots Demon, Sabaton, and House Of Doom, all of which saw the game developer partner with the bands to create unique and fun slots based on the band’s style and image.
Black Mamba is no different, and the game has incorporated the band’s members Martina Cori, Alexandra Maiolo, Cecilia Nappo, and Federico Maragoni, as symbols in the slot who use their musical skills to launch individual special features. The band members’ special features can all come together for a giant, jaw-dropping finale.
As mentioned, the band members can use their special features to effect gameplay including destroying two sets of symbols (Alexandra), adding up to two Wild symbols to the reels (Cecilia), causing one set of symbols to transform into another (Fred), and destroying the bottom row of symbols while simultaneously creating a Martina symbol (Martina).
Landing symbols of Alexandra, Cecilia, and Fred fills up the concert meter and once players land four to six of these symbols, they trigger the Concert feature. During this, each band member will take turns performing their special feature to help players make more wins.
The game also benefits from a Free Spins feature with multiplier symbols and band member special features which are triggered on each non-winning spins except Martina’s which is played on a winning spin.
What They Say
Like with its previous musical-themed slots, Black Mamba was involved in the slot’s creation and the game features music from the band’s latest album Black Mamba II, which was released this October. Songs included in the game include ‘Monsters’, ‘Natural Born Disaster’ and the single ‘Watch Me When I Fail’ which is played during the Free Spins feature.
Play’n GO’s CEO Johan Törnqvist said in a statement: “Creativity and innovation are at the heart of everything we do; we want to take this form of entertainment into new territories, and that means playing with new ideas and new concepts.
“Working with the band to create the slot is an example of this; we ensure that we capture the personality and the essence of their music and fuse it with the Play’n GO spirit you get with every release. To do that successfully, that’s when you know you’ve created something special.”
The brand new slot follows Play’n GO’s more recent releases which include the Egyptian-themed Doom Of Egypt, honey-crazed slot Honey Rush, Vegas-themed slot Big Win 777, and Cash Pump.
Black Mamba is available to play at all Play’n GO casino operators.
