Game Developer Stakelogic Acquires Gambling License For The UK

Game developer Stakelogic is set to launch in the UK.

The independent game developer, which is known for several casino games, announced this week that it had been granted a license from the UK Gambling Commission, allowing it to finally offers its games to players based in the nation.

This means that players based in the UK will be allowed to play Stakelogic’s selection of games once they become available at casino operators. Some of the firm’s most popular games include Devils, Double Gem, Hardwell, Hot4Shot Deluxe, Bank Or Prank, Classic Joker, Fruits Gone Wild, Classic Dice, and Classic Forties Quattro.

The news comes after Stakelogic launched its very first MegaWays slot Black Gold MegaWays after signing a licensing agreement with renowned game developer Big Time Gaming. The new license also comes weeks after Stakelogic was granted a license to operate in Romania.

Stakelogic’s CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar, said in a statement: “We are thrilled to have secured a supplier license from the UK Gambling Commission just weeks after being granted a permit in Romania.

“We have already signed partnerships with a number of online gambling brands who will launch our games to UK players in the coming weeks. In anticipation of our UK license, we have created a series of slots that will take Reflex Gaming’s popular land-based games online which we believe will be a big hit with players.”

He added: “We have also recently launched our first MegaWays title which is proving to be a great success and which will undoubtedly appeal to UK players too. As we continue to secure licenses in regulated markets and grow our game portfolio, Stakelogic aims to triple the revenue of our clients again in 2020.”

UK Gambling Licenses

Stakelogic’s announcement comes weeks after the Design Works Gaming (DWG) Group revealed that it too had acquired a gambling license from the UK Gambling Commission.

Similarly to Stakelogic, the license allows Design Works Gaming to offer its portfolio of casino games to players based in the UK, including popular games such as Super Surprise, Tiger Palace, Wonders Of Africa, Bear Tracks, Komodo Dragon, and many others.

Another game development studio to have recently acquired a UK gambling license includes Hacksaw Gaming which will now provide casino operators in the UK with a selection of games including Om Nom, Stick ‘Em, King Treasure, Miami Multiplier, Scratch Mini, Gold Rush, and so many more.
