Game developer Leap Gaming has acquired a UK Gambling licence.
With a licence, the Malta-based studio will now be allowed to provide its casino games to players and operators within the United Kingdom, boosting its reach across the country.
The studio specialises in video slots, table games, instant titles, and sports-based gaming. Some of the slots you can expect to see at UK operators in the coming weeks include C-Punk 5K, GangStar, Aztec Stargems, Party Fruits, Wild Gods, Santa’s Gifts, and more.
The news comes after Leap Gaming acquired licenses to operate in Greece, South Africa, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Romania.
Yariv Lissauer, the CEO of Leap Gaming, said in a statement: “We are delighted and honoured to have been granted the UKGC Supply license. The UK is a very important territory for Leap as it is one of the prime gaming markets in the world.
“The UK is a key benchmark and a trendsetter for most of the gaming jurisdiction globally and serves as a hotbed of innovation. Moreover, the UK is also within the footprint of many of our live and contracting partners, and we look forward to roll[ing] out our content there shortly.”
The news comes weeks after mobile casino and sportsbook JeffBet acquired a licence from the Gambling Commission, allowing it to launch in the UK.
