Yggdrasil and Dreamtech Gaming have partnered to release their latest slot Glory Of Heroes, which sees you embark on a dangerous adventure filled with fun features and wins.
Glory Of Heroes uses a 7×7 layout and has an RTP of 97.15% with low variance, which means you’re more likely to make frequent small wins. The game also uses a Cluster Pays mechanic, so you’re going to need to make clusters of five or more matching symbols to make wins.
The game is the eighth title developed by Dreamtech Gaming under Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program, and the title forgoes traditional slot mechanics by introducing a video game-style level progression system where you complete levels.
There are three locations in the game, and each location has three levels. To complete each level, you’ll need to clear all targets by reducing the value of each target via winning combinations.
Each level has a Target pattern overlayed on the reels, and you’ll need to create wins over these patterns to reduce their value and clear them. However, the Target pattern cannot be decremented during the slot’s Free Spins mode. When all Targets are removed, the level is complete.
The next level only begins once all Targets have been removed and all Free Spins have been completed. Once the third level of the final location has been completed, the game restarts at the beginning.
To help you on your heroic journey, the Glory Of Heroes slot comes with several special features. For example, there are Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols and can help create clusters, but they cannot form their own clusters.
The game also has a Cascading mechanic, where all winning symbols are removed and replaced by new symbols on winning spins. If these new symbols create a winning combination, those symbols are removed and replaced, and this continues until no new wins land, requiring a fresh spin.
Hero Symbols of 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 can randomly appear on non-winning spins to help create a win. They appear immediately after a main spin and are upgraded as you complete levels, changing to a different symbol each time.
Every win triggered in Glory Of Heroes increases the Boss Bonus by 15%, and whenever a location is cleared, you trigger one spin of the Boss Bonus Wheel Feature. If the Wheel lands on ‘Win’, you win the amount displayed in the Boss Bonus meter, and the meter is reset to zero. If you do not win, the Boss Bonus meter is carried over to the next location.
The Hero in Glory Of Heroes has three powers that can be used in the game. They include Magic, where nine Wild symbols are added to the reels in random positions; Counter Attack, where a target is randomly chosen and its value decreased by one; and Fury, where a random number of symbols are removed from the reels.
Finally, Glory Of Heroes has a Free Spins mode, which is triggered by filing the Free Spins meter and clearing 50 symbols. When triggered, you can earn eight, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 or 50 free spins. During the feature, Lucky Block symbols can appear, and all winnings have a 1x multiplier.
For every Cascade in the Free Spins mode, the multiplier increases by one point with no cap. Additional spins can be triggered by filling the Free Spins meter, and all Hero powers can be used.
Stuart McCarthy, the Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, said in a statement: “Our partnership with Dreamtech Gaming continues to go from strength to strength and we’re thrilled to be releasing Glory Of Heroes.
“With its video game-style level progression, huge win potential and innovative Cluster Pays mechanic, we are certain it will become a hit across our network.”
