NetEnt has released a sequel to its highly popular 2017 slot Butterfly Staxx.
The provider, which is responsible for games such as Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest, announced the new online slot this week, revealing it to be a sequel to the NetEnt hit slot Butterfly Staxx.
According to NetEnt’s press release, the new slot features the same colourful visuals from the first game but benefits from updated graphics, new bonus features and exciting gameplay mechanics.
Butterfly Staxx 2 uses a 5×4 layout with 40 pay lines and players can unlock an additional two reels by playing through the game.
The additional play areas are triggered during a re-spin when a full stack of Butterfly symbols land and cover the entire reel. They can also be triggered when the player selects the Butterfly Spins feature when a bonus game is awarded.
In addition to that, the game also has a special Butterfly Frenzy feature which consists of five different levels. Players tasked with selecting 10 butterflies that award coins and each new stage provides players with an additional 10 picks.
Butterfly Staxx 2 also includes other special features include Free Spins, Wild symbols and more, all of which can help you land additional winning combinations.
