West Midlands

The West Midlands is a strange region which is comprised of the Birmingham, Dudley, Solihull, Walsall, Coventry, Shropshire and Herefordshire. Much of the region borders Wales, and it’s actually home to some huge casinos.

We’ve visited the West Midlands and have selected three of our favourite casinos to show you whenever you decide to go South West.

1. Genting International Casino, Birmingham

Genting, Birmingham

The Genting International Casino in Birmingham is the city’s biggest. The casino offers some of the latest technology along with excellent customer service. The Genting International has garnered a hugely positive reputation among the players in Birmingham and has been lauded for giving players a wonderful and memorable visit.

Open 24 hours a day and seven days a week, the Genting International offers 14 tables for roulette, four tables for three card poker, four tables for baccarat as well as tables for poker games. In addition to this, there are numerous slot machines available to visitors.

The casino also features the Fahrenheit Grill which offers a huge selection of dishes from around the world as well as snacks, sandwiches, cakes and much more. On top of all that, the casino is located at Birmingham’s Resorts World, where you can find the Genting Hotel and Spa, an IMAX cinema as well as numerous shops, restaurants and bars.

2. Grosvenor Casino, Birmingham

Grosvenor, Birmingham

The Grosvenor casino in Birmingham is a casino found in the centre of Birmingham, and though it’s not nearly as big as the Genting International and Chinatown, it certainly managed to get players returning.

The casino offers a selection of slots games, video slots, electronic roulette and jackpot slot machines. In addition, the casino features several casino table games for visitors who want to play roulette, blackjack, mahjong and baccarat.

Unlike most casinos, the Grosvenor is actually relaxed with its dress code, allowing players to visit the casino in casual clothing. And if that isn’t enough for you, try their online casino out.

3. Genting Casino Chinatown, Birmingham

Genting Chinatown, Birmingham

The Genting Casino Chinatown can be found at the centre of Birmingham’s Chinatown. Located right beside Birmingham New Street station, the Chinatown casino offers a large space for visitors to play their favourite games.

The gaming room floor features numerous casino tables for games such as blackjack, roulette, poker and baccarat. It also offers slot machines that are regularly updated as well as electronic roulette tables. Sadly, no poker tournaments or cash games are available at the Chinatown casino.

Just off the main gaming floor is the Hou Mei restaurant, which offers traditional Chinese cuisine freshly prepared by chefs in the kitchen. Also available is the restaurant’s bar menu, which offers a huge list of cocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
